Birth 2012 - A New Way Through Together! PDF Print E-mail

Barbara Marx Hubbard has been referred to as- visionary, speaker, author, social architect, philosopher and mystic. She is the cofounder and president of The Foundation for Conscious Evolution. It has been her life's mission to ask each of us .. . "What is the meaning of all our new powers that is good?"

Barbara along with the 12 member Welcoming Committee, are welcoming the world into the new era of Humanity Ascending. Exploring the question, "What can we learn from the past that could guide in the present to create a future equal to our potential?"

Humanity Ascending is a name for the next stage of human evolution. We have arrived here by passing through many other stages - Homo habilis, Homo erectus, Homo Neanderthal, Homo sapiens, Homo sapiens sapiens (the one who knows he knows).

Many people are listening to the voice of their Higher Self. The One Voice calling us all to grow in consciousness and to recreate our world. Now, during our current planetary struggles, crisis is inducing the birth of a more universal human.

The signs of our emergence as universal humans include, an unconditional love for the whole of life, a powerful irresistible passion to unite with Spirit within; and a deep felt impulse to connect with others and co-create a world equal to our love and our capacities.

Barbara was born in 1929. In 1951, while studying in France, she met artist Earl Hubbard. They soon married and became parents of 5 children.

They shared a common dream of a more peace-filled, compassionate world for all of creation. Barbara tells the story, 'every morning after I drove the kids to school, Earl and I would sit at the kitchen table and record our deep, inspiring conversations on how to use the new powers we have for good.

Birth 2012 movement is the result of many conversations with many people over many years! The evolving Universe is birthing us into becoming Universal Humans with Global Hearts. We are the off spring of the stars - a child of earth. We are now the heart and vocal cords of Earth's willingness.

We are called to consent to be the vessel of the Holy One. We are nature's black box- her soul space of hope, and creativity.

It is that spark of light inside ourselves that wants to shine more, that wants to realize its potential, that wants to be a light unto the world. When we sense that light inside of us, our essence literally begins radiating out wanting to connect, contribute and extend love.

Barbara and the Welcoming Committee have declared Birth 2012 on December 22, 2012, the day after Winter Solstice- the day of the lengthening of light. This is the day to set our collective intentions for a new era of Peace, Sustainability, Health and the emergence of a Universal Humanity.
